Summer Art Sessions
with Miss Cat
Our Summer Art Program is open for youth ages 5 - 17 years of age and offers
in-studio Group/Semi-private and Private Art Classes as well as
Therapeutic Art Sessions. This year we have divided Sessions into two 5 week programs.
Students who enroll in these sessions will automatically be featured in our Summer Art Gala.
Session #1: June 11th - July 11th
Session #2: July 23rd - August 22nd

Meet Artist & Owner
Cat Cabajar
Cat Cabajar (she/they) has been developing The Painted Cat for 20 years. After discovering their love of face painting during the 2004 Artwalk Festival in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, they began booking birthday parties, festivals and fundraisers on the side while still being a full-time Graphic Designer.
In 2012 Cat decided to take a leap of faith and go full-time with The Painted Cat and has never looked back. Since then they have been brightening the community by providing art & entertainment for kids of all ages.
During the pandemic, Cat was unable to provide face painting and pivoted towards teaching online Art Classes and Paint Parties. This snowballed over the years and has become another passion which they share in their studio located in downtown Sarnia, Ontario Canada.
Cat offers an after-school art program for ages 5-16, private and semi-private lessons , and paint parties for all ages. They have also worked with Autism Ontario and provide Therapeutic Art services for those looking to heal from past trauma or experience depression and/or anxiety.
Cat is available as a Guest Speaker and Facilitator and is always up for a challenge or new project. If you are interested in working with Cat feel free to email them with your ideas. They look forward to hearing from you!
